After getting used to BF3, MW3 is jarringly bad. Maps are so small the sky is a joke - it's effectively all indoors. Roads are bent and cluttered so they're more like real-world hallways. Movement is slow and clunky. Combat involves running around hoping to catch someone looking away or reloading. The gun you use is almost irrelevant. Team coordination IS completely irrelevant. All guns are meant to be fired at full-auto (they have virtually no recoil anyway) and the difference between short and long range is about 30 feet. The map is totally non-responsive. Noob toobs work the same as ever. PC version works on playlists not servers. Graphics are 15% better than COD4. I was very successful in terms of my KD because I used my BF3 habits like using cover and firing in bursts, but the people with the really good scores are the ones who sprint around exploiting every corner of the static map and blazing away with high-ROF, fast-reloading weapons. Who cares if you die? You'll respawn 15 feet away with a deathstreak bonus anyway! This game feels slow, outdated, random, and childish. It would have been cool in 2007 - OH WAIT IT WAS. But it hasn't evolved at all and in many ways is actually worse. Travis says no to MW3.
